Tree stumps may retained and allowed to regrow (most decidous species), retained and treated with herbicide where it is desirable to kill the stump, or removed by stumpgrinding.

Stumpgrinding removes the stump to a specified depth, leaving the major roots disconnected. It may be required to allow for replanting, re-turfing when a tree has been located in a lawn or where construction projects are planned.

NOTE Mechanical destruction of a stump by stump grinding is less disruptive to the site than mechanical excavation.

At just over two feet in width, the newest addition to our stump-grinding fleet will fit through most garden gates, allowing access for fast and efficient stump removal.
